Rohit Kapur Managing Director
There are a relatively small number of individuals in the business aviation community that have transformed themselves from the cockpit to the boardroom successfully. Rohit Kapur is one of these persons, having flown helicopters in the Army, before moving to the business aviation industry
Rohit’s experience in the civil aviation industry spans across various segments, be it in aircraft sales, operations, MRO, or setting up turnkey aviation projects. Rohit’s present role as Managing Director requires him to focus on business fundamentals and strategy for long term growth.
Rohit’s career path is rare among aviation leaders. After spearheading the establishment of Punj Lloyd Aviation, Rohit was the President of Aircraft Sales, Charters and Operations for Air Works India, when Punj Lloyd Aviation merged its business with Air Works. In 2009, Rohit joined Indocopters as CEO. Indocopters was responsible for Eurocopter Sales, Service and Product Support in India as their Distributor. At Indocopters, Rohit was responsible for leading a turnaround of the company by increasing revenues by 100% in less than2 years, and stimulating the growth of Eurocopter helicopters in India, thereby increasing its market share.
In 2011, Rohit joined ARROW as a Managing Director and Partner, with direct responsibility of aircraft sales.
Rohit is also the elected President for Business Aircraft Operators’ Association, the only recognized body to represent the voice of the business aviation community in India. Besides this, he is a member of the Civil Aviation Committee of Federation of Indian Chambers for Commerce and Industry (FICCI), which has been established to advise the Government of India on policy making for Business aviation in the country.
Samir Gupta Director
Samir Gupta carries a formidable reputation in the aviation industry. A young entrepreneur, he had the vision of establishing the ARROW AVIATION GROUP 10 years ago, when the Indian aviation industry was still struggling to find its feet. Sensing an opportunity and realizing the huge growth potential for aviation in India, Samir established ARROW AVIATION SERVICES Pvt. Ltd. in 2000, as one of the largest aviation spare parts distributor in the region. Today ARROW AVIATION SERVICES PVT. LTD. is the authorized spare parts distributor for the Indian sub-continent, Middle East and North Africa, with offices in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Guwahati and a world class bonded ware house at Sharjah Airport Free Zone. It supplies aviation spares to a majority of aircraft owners/operators in these regions and holds inventory worth over 2 Million USD at any one time.
Samir holds a BE Mechanical Engineering Degree. As Founder Director and Partner in ARROW AIRCRAFT SALES AND CHARTERS Pvt. Ltd. Samir brings his experience, reputation, goodwill and strategic foresight to give a sense of direction to the company. Having served on Board of many companies he also brings in corporate governance and financial discipline to the company's working.
Shailendra Pratap SinghExecutive Director
With two decades of experience in the civil aviation industry, Shailendra is one of the most talented and experienced individual for providing aircraft charters, management and operations solutions. A qualified aircraft maintenance engineer, Shailendra has worked with Punj Lloyd Aviation, Indo Pacific Aviation and Air Works in various capacities.
As Executive Director and Partner of ARROW AIRCRAFT SALES AND CHARTERS Pvt. Ltd., Shailendra has taken the company to new levels of excellence and established it as the leading corporate aviation solution provider in a very short span of time. His “never say die “attitude and result oriented approach enable him to offer innovative solutions to customers seeking complex aircraft charters, operational or management requirements.
At ARROW, Shailendra is responsible for all aspects of company operation, with special attention to aircraft charters and operations.
